Hi.

I gotta Gericom 1st Supersonic PCI E Notebook.

It's based on a Quanta KN1 Barebone motherboard using the Intel 915 chipset.

The integrated Intel 2915 WLAN won't work cuz of lack of drivers.

So do the graphics card (6600 Go), the soundcard (Realtek HD)

AND

the PCMCIA SLOT.

I got the problem that the Darwin bootscreen shows me a IOPCCardBridge --> failed

I used 10.4.3/4/5 and it won't work on all the versions :(

That's so damn cuz I got a Linksys WPC54G 1.2 and the possibility to test some other PCMCIA WLAN Cards. But the Slot doesn't even recognize a PCMCIA USB Card :(

Can somebody help me out ??? I need this thing to work :(

 Were can i find drivers for the PCMCIA Slot ?? or the Intel 915 chipset ?

thanks so much in advance

Hello bml2000

I have a Toshiba Tecra M3 Laptop installed and runing with 10.4.4 + 10.4.5 upgrade from Myz DVD and I can not use any PCMCIA Wireless Network Cards.

At Boot time it can't load both the IOPPCard and IOPCCardBridge kext.

The boot messages are the following:

IOPCCard info: Intel PCIC probe: not found.

IOPCCardBridge::start failed

The PCMCIA Chipset of the Toshiba Tecra M3 is :

Texas Instruments PCIxx21/x515 Cardbus Controller

SO far I have no solution.... let me know if you've been able to find a workaround ?
