Leunamme
Hey guys, I've been working with OSX86 for a couple years now with hit or miss results. When it works, it's amazing, but that's rarely. For the last half a year, I've been trying to get OSX to work on my MSI P31 Neo mobo with Core2 Duo E6750 and 2GB ram with Foxconn 8600GT...my DVD drive is IDE and my 250GB HD is SATA. I've read from Orendil in an earlier forum that he was able to get Kalyway 10.5.1 to run on a setup identical to mine and a lot of you other guys too, but I have not been able to replicate the results. I haven't been fortunate enough to even reach the install screen where I select English as my language. Not even an old JAS 10.4.8 disk works. It keeps stopping at an ACPI error... I have no clue where to go with this system. I hear that some of you guys were lucky to get it to work. I'd just like to see this working. Thanks guys. ___keN
No Leopard for P31 Neo (F), you need a fixed BIOS or it won't work. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113415-msi-p31-neo/#findComment-995119 Share on other sites
Iruxos
No Leopard for P31 Neo (F), you need a fixed BIOS or it won't work. I have this mobo... Where can I get the fixed BIOS to make Leopard work with all cores and vanilla kernel?
