Zecram
I can't seem to run iWork 08. It just appear blank. I'll include some screenshots Pages turns out to be blank. Numbers splash screen Numbers blank too Keynote wouldn't even open. I installed it using the trial disk that came with my Leopard original package. Tried using my friend's original iWork 08, same result. I can run the entire office suite without hiccups and I still prefer to use iWork as I want to be consistant with my Macbook Pro. Please help me, thank you. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113394-kalyway-hacintosh-1052-unable-to-run-iwork-08/ Share on other sites

Zecram
Yes, very weird indeed. Which is why I need help from you guys. Another problem is that I can't run any games. It says I don't have DirectX... another weird thing. My graphic card is built-in so I have no idea what my graphic card is. But System Profiler says this : Intel GMA 900: Chipset Model: GMA 900 Type: Display Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 64 MB of shared system memory Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x2582 Revision ID: 0x0004 Displays: Display Connector: Status: No display connected DELL E176FP: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 75 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported QuartzGL: Supported Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113394-kalyway-hacintosh-1052-unable-to-run-iwork-08/#findComment-806439 Share on other sites
Gujal
GMA900 is one of the worst cards for OSX. No QE or CI on that card yet. I dont think this card will ever be supported. Install any nVidia card above GeForce5200 and it should work fine Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113394-kalyway-hacintosh-1052-unable-to-run-iwork-08/#findComment-806521 Share on other sites
fujimonster
I had that exact same problem. I didn't have the video drivers installed for my 8800GTS. When I used nvject, etc I was able to use hardware acceleration, quartz, etc and the problem fixed itself. Zecram
So you mean there's no way for me to use this computer for graphical software unless 1) I switch back to Windows or 2) Buy a new graphic card?
