xbc
My computer is running a Retail install of on a GA-P35-D3SL vanilla kernel. Everything works, sleep, shutdown. Then I installed the Vmware Fusion 1.1.3 and my computer and the sleep would no longer wake. Since the only thing I had changed was the Vmware Fusion. I figured it was to blame. Looking at the boot (-v) option the vmware section had more lines than usual. The crazy part is how it got fixed. I uninstalled Vmware 1.1.3, and sleep works now. Reinstalled Vmware it and sleep still works. Filed under Wierd. [update] Installed the 10.5.4 update, sleep broke again. Uninstalled and reinstalled Vmware 1.1.3 sleep works again Cue in more Wierdnesss I am not sure if this happens on other computers but just wanted to share my wierd finding. I guess it has to do with the virtual ethernet drivers vmware installs.
