Jash Sayani
I successfully Installed Leopard on a COMPAQ Presario M2000 Notebook that I purchased recently. Now, I installed Kalyway on it and I got a b0 error on booting... After reading some solutions, I did this: Start with the installation disk At darwin prompt, press F8, then input -v -s and stroke return now wait for console (the shell #) when the shell is ready, enter fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 it will load fdisk, you should see: fdisk 1> with a prompt. Here enter “flag 1″ (without quotes) and then return then enter “quit” (w/o quotes) and then return it should says “MBR saved” now type “exit” (again, w/o quotes) and return And now, after reboot, I get the: HFS+ Partition error. Please Help.... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113211-inst-successful-cant-boot-hsf-partition-error/ Share on other sites

Jash Sayani
I formated the laptop again and installed XP this time in partition 1 and OS X Leopard on partition 2. I booted into xp and added the Chain0 Leopard option in boot.ini But after booting in Leopard, it again shows HSF+ partition error. I probably followed the same dual booth guide you did I have a couple ideas, so I will run through it real quick and see if it helps. Stay tuned..
