  • 2 weeks later...

I have the same laptop and the only time I could get sleep to work was before I installed nvidia drivers. ex: fresh install, sleep worked, restart worked, shutdown worked.

I selected mac girl's package for nvidia drivers and sleep, restart, shutdown didn't work

I selected Kalway's nvidia drivers under customize and sleep, restart, shutdown didn't work

Power Management package allowed me to have a functional battery indicator and i think its still manual speed setup ex: click on batter indicator and you can select max battery, normal, performance.

I am also trying to figure out this problem. let me know if you figure it out first ;)

  • 1 month later...

Mine can shutdown and restart but will enter an eternal sleep... if i put it to sleep

sometimes, shutdown doesnt shutdown the computer but shuts down the OS, but its very rare.

My graphics card is Intel 945, X1300 or something like that..

Anyway where do you find the powermanagement thing? my laptop doesnt have a working battery indicator... and wireless and sound also doesnt work. But my shutdown and restart works.

OK I reinstalled the iAtkos thing, this time with v2.0i ( yea i know its kinda outdated )

I installed the Apple SMBIOS for MacBook, now the Battery Indicator is working :D

It says there is an AirPort but it says its not installed :D

Sadly...

Now i have 2 Hackintosh installs. 1: iAtkos v1.0i (KPs) 2: iAtkos v2.0i

lol

on 1 hard disk

dual booting

And your powermanagement.kext gave me KPs and the keyboard and trackpad didnt work after that. :(

I had to survive using a USB mouse, but I dont have any USB keyboard, so i just had to reinstall.

Anyway its gd, now i have my dual-monitor setup again :D I screwed up the previous dual-monitor thing. It gave me utter rubbish...

Gdnight
