Hey all. I have been using Kalway 10.5.2 for a couple months now. Really liking it a lot. i got an ipod recently and it does not seem to work. When I try to plug it in, I get an error message about it not being supported or something, recommending me to use the options DVD from Apple to install iPod support. Since i used the kalway disc to install, I'm not sure what, if anything, I can do. Does anyone know?

Aside from mouse and keyboard, no other USB devices attached and I guess this is first time I have tried USB2. i will search around for more information related to the kext you mentioned. I'm using the vanilla kernel installed by Kalyway 10.5.2, though at some point I switched to the sleepkernel to try out and have since switched back to vanilla. Near as I can tell, the pcwiz tools I used to change the kernel simply copied the kernel file to /mach_kernel so that the file name being currently used is always /mach_kernel. I'm still learning how this stuff works, so I'll look into what you suggested there also.

Thanks a lot!
