Zman771 Posted June 29, 2008 Share Posted June 29, 2008 i just installed iWork 08 and it doesn't seem to run properly. For example, when i run Pages, all i see is a new document window that's basically a silver toolbar with a white body and there is nothing i can click in the window. Basically the whole program doesn't respond. I get similar results from Numbers and Keynote. i even tried to (ahem) obtain another copy and reinstall - but that didn't work. any ideas? ari79s Posted June 29, 2008 Share Posted June 29, 2008 You got a pretty sweet card compared to my {censored}, so I'm not entirely sure but you should be able to get it working pretty easy. There are quite a few threads on getting the 8600GT to work (maybe same as en8600GT). Seems like guys use Punk93 nVidia drivers, NVinject or nVidia Universal Installer. You can search for those and read through the threads to find some help site: insanelymac EN8600GT If you can't get QE/CI workin there is a pretty easy way allow Pages to work properly by editing a plist within the app (can't remember if Numbers or Keynote work that way or not). But definitely try to get QE/CI working first. It makes everything so much better!
