Mine is ALTGR+G

If you enable the SystemPreferences/International/InputMenu/Keyboardviewer it will add your country flag on the menubar if you then activate the "Show Keyboard Viewer" you can see which change when you press SHIFT, CTRL, ALT or the WIN button! I think you should find it under ALT or ALTGR + G

Once you get used to where the keys are you can go back and disable the keyBoardViewer in SystemPreferences!

no,

it does not work at all. if i press alt+q, nothing happens. if i press altgr + q nothin' happens. if i press shift + q i got a "Q", if i press shift + 2 i got a """. if i press alt and altgr + 2 nothing happens. if i press combinations like alt + shift + q or alt + shift + 2, nothing happens or i am asked to logout.

to put it in a nutshell. nothing happens when i try to get this "@" - sign.

plz help with a little tutorial if i need to make some special changes.

thx

shift 2 is the way to get @ with a english keyboard. if you're keyboard is not set to US/english then it will have different keys/combos for special symbols.

go to system prefs -> international -> input menu (at the top)

enable 'show input menu in menu bar', make sure US english is selected in the system prefs list and then go choose US english in your top right menu bar near your clock.

Here is your tutorial!!!
