Chillee151
I've been trying to find a way to patch the new myz 10.4.4. install iso with the ati ata (x200) patch. When I try to apply the patch with a ppf prog I get a BIN error in every patch program I've tried so far. It seems like the 10.4.4 iso doesn't quite have the files that the ati patch is looking for and I can't find any links to the kext file to try that. When I try to install the bin error osx I get a acpi error. Has anyone had this problems yet? maq
i don't think there is such a patch for the 10.4.4 dvd yet. download the .kext and insert it yourself per the instructions in scousi's post Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11286-ati-ata-x200-patch-wont-work-on-1044-install-iso/#findComment-71628 Share on other sites
limbohz
i think the JaS ATI ATA patch only applies to 10.4.3 dev tool kit dvd. ended up getting the macosx_10.4.3_8f111_for_dtk_userdvd.dmg and patched it with the following: - JaS.1111a.Generic.Patch.V4.2b.ppf - Jas.v4.2b.ATI.ATA.Fix.ADDon.ppf basically making 10.4.3 dvd and install bootable. good luck! El Massman
Is there any chance someone could create a patch for the 10.4.4 iso? I'm having trouble installing with VMWare when using a physical drive, if possible i'd like to be able to boot natively.
