Tranzy Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 First of all ...i'm a bit of a noob concerning Hackintosh. But today i managed to install a fresh out of the box HP DX2200MT with Kalyway 10.5.1 DVD. Did a custom install and selected the vanilla kernel and the AC97 sound option.. (can't remember the name..started with a Za ..something). Everything works great!! Sound and Video.. except the network card, i just cant seem to get the onboard 82801G LAN card working. So i just bought a Belkin Lan card for 9 euros. I could even install the the 10.5.3 combo and 9.3 vanilla kernel. I had problems with video and hardware with the 10.5.2 Kalyway DVD so i sticked with the 10.5.1 DVD and just updated. Well just wanted to let you know that i now have a brand new Mac that cost me €399 + €9 . Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
