jivhg
Hey everyone, I finally got gimp to run on my iMac natively without X11. But I need help making an installer because there are a LOT of files. I repeat, a LOT. Right now, it is only for Intel Macs because I am still looking for some powerpc people to help compile it on. When I get a screenshot, I'll release it to you guys but right now I'm busy organizing the files. Update : Almost Done compiling all the files. The folder with all the files is huge, 180 MB so far and I'm not even half done. So this will may be a 360 mb install for you GIMPers. UPDATE : I finished getting it all together and now I just need to make the package. It will take a while This whole folder is 444 mb. Download: http://www.filefactory.com/file/61eac0/n/G...With_no_X11_zip Please install and post back here your results after testing, thanks! U.C.
Just use PackageManager they come in the XCode Tools. If you dont want to install the whole 2.5 GB worth thing, just extract PackageManager using pacifist. Also extract this file called otool, and shove it in /usr/bin. Here is a good guide. I made an Installer last week. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/112846-gimp-for-mac-os-x-intel-and-no-x11/#findComment-798725 Share on other sites
