UNDER.
Hi everyone! First of all, I'm new to this forum and it looks very nice! I'm having a problem with the game called Starcraft. When I play on a map called VGT my game crashes (only map that does that). I have been told that it's possible to fix this by changing the compatibility of the game to Mac OSx (since that's what i'm running) but I dont know where to go to change the compatibility. I know how to do it on windows but not on mac. Could anyone help me out please ? Thanks alot for the help guys I'm glad to be part of your community! Gix
As far as I know, there is no compatibility mode in Mac OS. You just launch the game and it'll run in rosetta (what intel macs use to run PPC applications); it's all transparent. That's as compatible as you're going to get. I'm assuming, of course, that you're running Starcraft using the carbon installer (aka: so it won't need classic to run). If it's just a single map that crashes your game, then it's not necessarily linked to your computer but, rather, the map in question. Some of the Starcraft custom maps made by PC users use a hacked map editor in order to pull off some of the stuff they do... although I haven't seen a map crash Starcraft yet, I'm assuming that this is why your game crashes.
