kitmac
Currently using leo4allV3 I have a 1394a PCI card (VIA chip) that shows up on system profiler when i connect a disk to it but won't actually mount disk. Anyone know of a 1394a or even better a 1394b (800) PCI card that WILL work....? BTW: Yes, I've checked the Wiki...... BigPimpin
Any OHCI card should work and virtually every consumer-grade card follows the OHCI standard. I think there's something else you're doing wrong. How is the disk formatted? Does it show up in Disk Utility? shaoxl
what's model or chepset of your external HDD? I mean the 1394 to IDE or SATA chepset. I have 3 1394 cards(VIA cheps, TI cheps and Adaptec card). Both can work in 10.5.2. You can check the disk utility first.
