reedog117
I haven't been on these forums in forever, but I'm trying to build an encapsulated OSX 10.5.3 image so I can create a self-contained iPhone Developer environment. Why a VMWare image? I'd like to be able to move this image from computer to computer as I get work accomplished. I don't need any fancy extra stuff like Office or iTunes, etc. Plus if I trash my dev environment, I'd like to be able to either revert to a snapshot or start from a clean image quickly. Tried using search and couldn't find much. If anyone has any experience or ideas on how to get this accomplished, that would be great.
nullvalu
I'm looking for the same thing here for the exact same reason. I managed to get a 10.4.7 image up & running but that is not recent enough for the iPhone SDK installation. If anyone has managed to get this working, please share. Thanks! firebelly
The problem is getting the hard drive to be recognized by osx on install. I'm finding there is a problem with the the virtual hard drives. If you can find a solution let me know. X) I will attempt this again this weekend, but what I need to do is preformat the drives maybe?
