  1. The problem is getting the hard drive to be recognized by osx on install. I'm finding there is a problem with the the virtual hard drives. If you can find a solution let me know. X) I will attempt this again this weekend, but what I need to do is preformat the drives maybe?
  2. can you boot into -s mode and copy the dmesg? Also on a side note, i've been using workstation 6.5 and iDeneb 1.3 with 10.5.5 and it didn't work. When you boot into single user mode, see if the system can actually find the virtual drive. I think it had to be formated before or something. I'm still working on it. i think you posted most of your dmesg..didn't see it. I think you're missing the virtual hard drive. as i said in my previous post, I can't get mine to appear either.
  3. VMWare 6.5 Install

Has anyone even tried the latest with workstation 6.5?
  4. VMWare 6.5 Install

I have seen multiple successful installs with VMWare 5 and 10.4 osx. I had a few questions, if I boot -s into the console, I should see the virtual Hard drive on the dmesg...right. If i let it go with multiple paths of -s, -x, -v. I always stall at the grey screen. Anyone have any special suggestions to get the virtual hard drive to be recognized by osx on boot up? Yes, i've trued scsi = false, scsi = true.
