kNewton Posted June 21, 2008 Share Posted June 21, 2008 the G3 currently has 10.2.9 and only has a cd drive and an external dvd burner, 400 mhz, 768 mb ram. i would like to put as high OSx as to let it run a high version of iMovie and little else. if i can get 10.4, i can run additional programs. i have a 10.3.4 dvd, but i cannot get it to boot from external dvd burner. i understand g3 will not load in target mode, but can i network it to another mac and install that way? i don't know what else i should try.
