Windows04
Hi everyone, Having a little problem with Kalyway 10.5.2 Intel SSE2/SSE3 version. Installed succesfully, but it seems that sound isn't working. I just use my built in audio ports on my Intel DQ965 GF motherboard. Do I need to install other drivers, modify parts of my system, and so on... ? I'm TOTALLY NEW to this, so I wil need a lot of explanation . Also, it seems that Ethernet card is not working, i've seen that there are no drivers for my 82566DM ethernet card (also built in on my motherboard). It's not that bad if I have to use another ethernet card, but does anyone have recommendations or can give a link with ethernet cards that are sure to work with Kalyway ? Anyway, thanks to all . aqua-mac
For sound, you need to place these 2 kexts into your System/Library/Extensions folder. Intel DQ965 GF Sound Drivers You then need to repair your kext permissions with the script below. Just double click it then wait. Leave it for a while it will look like it has crashed but will eventually spring into action. Repair Permissions When it has finished, go into your System/Library folder, delete the Extensions.mkext kext then reboot! ChibaPet
I've got the same issue - DQ965GF, no sound or built in network. The link to the drivers appears to no longer be valid. Where can I get the right kexts so I can have sound and network? Everything else appears to work beautifully out of the box - even video. Thanks in advance!
