System :

 

- OSX x86 10.4.4

- hpcompaq nx6125 AMD Turion64 1.8gHz

- 1GB RAM, 60 GB hard disk (only 20 gb presently, surely moving up to 40 or full when i get the time and drivers)

- ATI x200 XPress chipset (using the ATI IDE drivers)

- ATI integrated sound card (not working)

- Synaptics pad working out of the box

- on-board Broadcom Tigon3 gigabit adapter (14e4:169c) working with 10.4.3 drivers with a little modification

- ATI Radeon Mobility X200 on-board (no acceleration for the time being)

- Wireless Broadcom ABG (14e4:4324) working with Airport and a little hack, see http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=10749 for details

- working with 1400x1050 native

- installed with a pre-patched OSX86 DVD which had a modified kernel, then changed the mach_kernel with a base_ and amd_ - patched maxxuss-patchset kernel.

I am so happy.

 

I've a pretty close spec as u do.

Using a Ferrari 4002 laptop at the moment. Based on ur info, it seems that the sound isn't working yet.

Did u installed osx from VMware?
