stopthebus
Hi, Noob, so please be gentle. My old rig kicked the bucket, so in the process of building a new rig I gave Leopard a shot. Kalyway 10.5.2 update to Kalyway 10.5.3. with Vanila. All apple's online updates. 99% of the system works. All included software works, and I mean all. I was surprise that Leopard recognized the board (it's a brand new GA-X48). In any case, I need a little help with the following: Brother HL-1440 laser printer (need driver) Reboot/shutdown intermittent (tried poweroff fix). If I can get these two fix, I might just turn to the Dark Side. Any help will be greatly appreciated. sama7896
the poweroff fix only works if chud framework is installed. Not working still? try a hacked kernel Your printer is supported by gutenprint project PS: you posted 3 times Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/111590-new-built-99-working-need-a-little-help-to-make-100/#findComment-790810 Share on other sites
stopthebus
Thanks Sama, The printer driver is perfect. Yes, I did installed chud from the xcode package. Not really critical, I can just put it to sleep. The three posts was because the forum reported error so I have to do it again, didn't realized that it went through.
