kolonija
OK, I've now managed to boot Mac x86 thanks to this guide: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=78235 . However, i always have to use the "-f" boot parameter or else the screen with the sign "Please reboot your computer" appears. Now, my parents are even bigger noobs as I am but they want to use Mac on my PC and that means that they dont even know how to execute the -f parameter. So I was wondering: Can i make Mac x86 to automaticly add the boot parameter (-f)? What can i do? Please advise. Please advise. you can add -f in the kernel flag, located in library/preference/system configuration and called com.apple.boot.plist ( add -f between the > < ) you can try to repair permissions and clear caches with onyx ( google it) first hope this help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/111547-automaticly-execute-a-boot-parameter/#findComment-790086 Share on other sites

Korrupted
Well, he/we didn't know your skill level, so it's always better to err on the side of caution, i.e. potentially giving more details than needed. I'm sure he didn't mean any harm. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/111547-automaticly-execute-a-boot-parameter/#findComment-831057 Share on other sites
