bigjohnjr
Ok got 10.4.5 running perfect, got my res set 1280x1024, firefox installed, ilife 06, did the security update, etc. Got the printers working and the scanner too! The only thing is the dvd player. I know about vlc, but it would be nice to have the apple dvd player working. I know I never watch dvd's now on my computer just the kicks that it would work. I have a sse2 cpu. No quartz running and a plane jane on board graphics chip. Thanks John Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11105-dvd-player/ Share on other sites

I used to not have iDVD working, but when I updated to 10.4.5 it worked fine. I have GMA950 onboard video.
