jayminer
Hi everyone, I installed OS X on my Medion FIM2030 (Sometimes called Medion MD2812, maybe it's the motherboard that is called FIM2030?) The Processor is a Mobile Intel Celeron 2.00GHz (P4C-M (Northwood) Celeron M) Unfortunately almost none of the integrate periphals work. No sound (Realtek AC97, SiS7012 Audio Codec), no Ethernet (SiS900), no Firewire (SiS OHCI Compliant), no USB (SiS7002) ... and VESA graphics ofcourse (SiS650) *edit* Got USB working by turning off USB Legacy Support in the BIOS, woho Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1110-medion-fim-2030-success/ Share on other sites
cache-man
I have also got osx86 running on a medion laptop. I am using a Medion SIM2000 Intel Celeron M 1.3GHx laptop, and am using the Apple.OS.X.x86.Developer.Kit.Install.DVD-pheNIX 10.4.1 intallation. I got the install done fine, and have even got it to dual boot to XP too. I have however similar problems to yourself with regards to things not working: SIS900 network adapter not working AC97 sound not working (doesnt even show up anywhere) PCMCIA not working (I think the adapter for this is Ricoh R/RL/5C476(ii)) ...any advice for any of this? please Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1110-medion-fim-2030-success/#findComment-218047 Share on other sites
