Styxie
Basically, when I load Disk Utility from the patched iATKOS v1.0i DVD, it doesn't show my internal 500GB Samsung hard drive. It does however, show my external 500GB Maxtor drive. What's up with that? ghaith22
one of the heros helped me befor and his tip was You should have a setting in your BIOS for your controller: RAID, AHCI,IDE or AUTO. You have to select them one by one until you find the one that works for you!? it works for me i hope the same for you idid choose ACHI Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/110986-disk-utility-doesnt-show-any-hard-drives-iatkos-v10i-amd-patched/#findComment-786300 Share on other sites
Styxie
Thanks for the reply man, I'm trying it right now. It's the strangest thing really, because Linux also doesn't recognize my internal drive, but Windows XP does. Styxie
Setting the SATA controller from SATA to AHCI did show the hard drive, the system clogs up when I try to partition my drive, and also Windows doesn't recognize my drive anymore (which is not acceptable as I want to dual boot Windows XP and Leopard). Any suggestions?
