vbetts
I'm planning on going to Michigan for school next year, but I don't really want to bring my tower around with me...So, getting a laptop. Don't need a great one, but a cheap little one. Here is what I had in mind. (MoC)
It would but then again you are having serious work to do with the computer. If you want a Mac get an entry level Macbook for $999 with your student discount. It's too much work IMO to maintain a hack when you need reliability whenever your doing something and whatever your doing. Hope this helps Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/110942-laptop-time/#findComment-786434 Share on other sites
Synaesthesia
Should work nicely if the X3100 works. @Master of Computers: Remember, this is HALF the price of the Macbook you mentioned Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/110942-laptop-time/#findComment-786898 Share on other sites
vbetts
Yeah, if I had the money to buy a Macbook, I'd save myself the effort and buy it, but I'm super poor right now. vbetts
Well, that's the problem there. It's nice, but my budget is just under $600, I'm not worried about the harddrive if all I'm doing is school work and internet and such. And it only comes with 1 gb of ram, that's over $500. But thanks for the congrats. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/110942-laptop-time/#findComment-791592 Share on other sites
