Chucky73
Hi guys. Just downloaded the above image and have not had any luck in installation. I have burnt the image to a dual layer dvd. It will not boot when restarting the notebook (HP Pavilion dv6746tx). I have read all I can on google, but cannot understand what to do next. Is it that I have to patch the image to boot and install. Any help/new direction/links would be most helpful! Chucky73

I don't know of any that are dual layer. that COULD be your problem (an improper burn).

I did think it was a large image! Mac OS X LEOPARD for PC (OSx86), v.10.5 Build 9A466 (WWDC 2007) Apple is finally seeding the WWDC version of Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard v.10.5 Build 9A466). Apple previewed a "feature complete" version of Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) at WWDC and demonstrated many of the new Leopard features...
smorf
the original osx can´t be installed on regular hardware, you need a prepared version like "kalyways" oder "iatkos". a good way to start is to have a look in the hardware compatibility lists (HCL) and see which one is the best for your hardware. lord_muad_dib
and... "preview" doesn't let you think it's the old beta of leopard? take a retail patched iso instead (10.5.2)
