Mike2732 Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 Hi I have a laptop: Intel C2D 1.78GHz 1 GB Ram Intel MOBO Intel 945GM graphics First problem: Blue/black screen after apple loading screen, solution: 1. Startup options, "-s" 2. type within root: "mount -uw / 3. type: "/movevideodrivers" 4. No to NVIDIA, No to ATI, Yes to INTEL, No. Second: Intel Pro/Set Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection not working. 1. No solution yet. Third: My Marvell Network Adapter is not working (ethernet port). 1. No solution yet. That leaves me with NO INTERNET But my audio, video are working sucessfully. My main concern is my wirelss card, how can I get it working! You just have to manually input the IP address, Ipv6 etc. Google it. po1nt Posted June 15, 2008 Share Posted June 15, 2008 i have the same card.... for wireless. to be honest.. i just gave up on it.. cos the USB or PCMCIA replacement is easier. some other ppl have installed new wifi cards but I have searched intensely for a fix for this.. the ethernet fix.. is usually just a patch of a couple of files (IOPCCardFamily.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext) and change to IONetworkingFamily.kext.... this worked for the marvell yukon 8038 adaptor.. i think i have the same mobo but im not 100% sure.
