Ashand Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 after installing kalyway 10.5.1 the boot screen with apple logo is displayed and than i am getting some screen glitching and black screen with mouse courser...and thats it...the curser is moving...maybe I need to install some video card kext? how do i install it from F8...? Gujal Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 You can boot into Single User mode by pressing F8 and then -s Once booted follow the instruction on screen to mount the osx partition Assuming you are using NVidia video card (you have provided absolutely no info, way to GO!) If you are running NVinject, delete it and then reboot. It should boot fine into 1024x768 mode.
