Ueberschall Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 Leider gibt es dazu momentan nicht mehr Infos, als sie auf deren Website stehen, das der Device erste Ende Juni verfügbar sein wird (u.a. ja auch in Deutschland). Leider wird der Umstand, dass es dieses Device gibt meiner Meinung nach nicht kritisch genug betrachtet. Denn wenn das wirklich kommerziell erfolgreich vertrieben wird, ist der Spass wahrscheinlich vorbei (außer es ist sowas wie das Psystar projekt, was ja innerhalb von kürzester Zeit viel Rummel gemacht hat und dann untergetaucht ist.) Ueberschall Posted June 15, 2008 Share Posted June 15, 2008 Es gibt die unglaublichsten Sachen, womit die Leute versuchen Geld zu machen. Siehe verschiedene Warez-Groups, die kommerziell agieren. Ob das ganze nur ein geflashter USB-Stick ist, von dem man im übrigen auch ein Image ziehen kann (sollte kein Problem sein) oder ob das Teil noch andere Hardware mitbringt, die das ganze unterstützt ist zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt wohl noch nicht bekannt. Aber vielleicht erwischt du den Herrn Netkas ja im IRC oder fragst ihn mal auf seinem Blog nach Details. lord_webi Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 efi-x wird bestimmt nichts weiter als ein raffiniertes Dongel sein, in dem programmtechnisch die bestehende Mac Hardware hardcoded angegeben ist und auf das angesteckte System geroutet wird ... anders kann es nicht funzen, daß NetKas von einer WiederherstellungsDVD auf einem PC booten konnte ... ich würde sagen, hochgradig illegal und kann mir nicht vorstellen, daß dies von Apfel toleriert werden wird ... falls das ganze keine Ente sein sollte ... Möglicherweise sind hier rechtlich gesehen ein paar heisse Eisen verborgen, die Apple lieber nicht anfasst. Oder Apple will einfach die Publicity bei einer Klage gegen Psystar vermeiden. Ich bin sehr gespannt auf Efi-X, vielleicht ist es ja doch nur Bogus? ich würde sagen, hochgradig illegal und kann mir nicht vorstellen, daß dies von Apfel toleriert werden wird ... falls das ganze keine Ente sein sollte ...
