Yinx
OK guys so here it is my proposed build for my hackintosh, let me know what you think and if you can see any problems in there. Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 2.40GHz EVGA nforce 780i SLI motherboard Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC8500 RAM 2*2GB (two sets of this to make 8GB total) MSI GeForce 8800GTS 512MB graphics Compro VideoMate DVB-T750 Digital TV tuner Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 500GB HDD (two of these) LG Dual Layer DVD rewriter drive (two of these) And that's it. Any ideas guys or blaringly obvious problems? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/109868-proposed-build/ Share on other sites
vlad1966
Only potential problem - it's better I believe to go with Intel chipset mobo like X38 for better support. I had video corruption issues that couldn't be solved when I had my 8800GTS, but maybe that was because it was made by PNY? I've got a Radeon HD3870 now that is rock solid. Zaap
Is the TV tuner card Mac compatible? I'd find out for certain before buying. I second: avoid the nforce chipset in favor of Intel.
