Times_Infinity
When I go to boot into my Leo4All v3 installer dvd, a dvd that I had to inject some kexts into. It goes just fine, and when I think it is going to boot into the installer I get this error: Cannot use ATS Persistent Store - switching to old FODB cache code Then it hangs for a really long time, starts to read the dvd drive for 2 seconds then stops. Ive tried booting with -v -x and -f, but still same result. Can anyone help me out? cgsheen
What .kexts did you inject? Does leo4all have (proper) support for the SB600 chipset? That's usually the issue with most 690 motherboards. OSX doesn't really like the SB600 (I should say: that isn't a chipset ever used in a real Mac, some people have tried to include support for it in various SATA / ATA .kexts...) I found one that works pretty well for my 690G motherboard: "SB600_SATA_ATA.zip". I was never able to install OSX directly using the 690G... I had to use an external USB HD, install OSX onto it using a different computer, then I used the external USB to boot up the 690G machine... Times_Infinity
I have a 690V chipset, and Ive gotten Zeph's 10.5.2 to install. I was told by eddie that if I inject the SB600 kexts into the dvd that I should be able to boot into the installer, the Leo4All dvd has a selection for the SB600 chipsets. So IDK what I did wrong, cuz It says that even on a diff AMD computer. cgsheen
OK, I'm confused... If you've installed Zephy 10.5.2, why are you trying to install leo4all? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/109648-leo4all-v3-error/#findComment-780386 Share on other sites
Times_Infinity
Im trying to install leo4all because its less buggy then Zephs. Ive had Some problems in the past with Zephs that I heard arent in leo4all.
