szabotnik Posted June 9, 2008 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Sorry for this newbie question, but didnt find a clear answer in forum: Just finished installation of a seemingly stabile system, only obvious problem is, that I can´t wake it up after sleep using mouse or keyboard. (I can wake the comp up with the on off botton on the comp front though. Also restart works. Shutdown through menu takes a few minutes.) As a logterm Apple user this is a feature I´ve got used to and dont want to miss. Cant really judge if this is just a minor hinch in an otherwise almost perfectly working machine. Maybe I should be just grateful for what´s acomplished ? Thanks for your help. It may only work with some motherboards, but I know there are people who have it working. Did you look carefully through all your bios settings? Not quite sure if want to try this, disabling the USB keyboard for DOS ... hm, but should still be possible to enter BIOS settings on startup to go back to originla settings. Anyway, my original question is answered now: Non functioning wakeup from sleep with keyboard and mouse is normal for PCs and has to be configured to work. Now I´ll not blame my videocard or mobo anymore, grat, thanks !
