Hey guise.

I downloaded both the OSx86 10.5.2 and XP Pro.

Then i partitioned my drive, PLENTY of space on each.

Installed Windows - no trouble.

Installed Kalaway 10.5.2 - no trouble.

Reboot.

"Press any key to see boot options"

Press key.

"Which of the following OS's would you like to boot with:

Mac OSx86

Windows XP Pro"

If i choose "Mac OSx86" i get this:

Grey Background, Apple Logo, Circle loader thing. FOREVER.

If i choose "Windows XP Pro"

Regular boot in windows.

-----------------------------

Bottom line is why do i get stuck @ apple boot screen =[

I tried that "-s" and "-v."

But it didn't do anything except stop me from seeing even the grey screen.

ANY help would be sooooooooooooo greatly appreciated. Sorry for the n00biness.

ADDED INFO:

I'm getting this exact message when in -v mode. Does anybody know what i should do?

localhost fseventsd[41]: event logs in / . fseventsd out of synce with volume. destroying old logs (100180 19 134204)

localhost DumpPanic[44] Error getting a refrence to IODevice Tree:/options unknown SIGSEGV code 0

Once again, thanks so much to any help!

Hey,

-v is the verbose mode, i.e., it displays the boot time messages, which would help you exactly to figure out what went wrong. You said that you use this mode next time note where you are stuck, note the message where you got stuck and post the problem with the message then only someone would help you deal with the problem.

Anyways, as for now you see the grey screen with the animation because you are stuck somewhere may be some hardware issue or something.

Bye and HAPPY HACKINTOSH!
