New Apple keyboard on Doctor Who

I watched the latest episode of Doctor Who, "Silence in the Library". This episode is set in the distant future, the 51st century to be exact. And as the Doctor works with the computers of the future, there are keyboard interfaces. (what??? in the 51st century they still use keyboards??) Disbelief aside, what keyboard does the BBC production team use to display the future tech? Well, none other than the new Apple keyboard. Quite a nice touch. (mind you, the warranty might be slightly out of date by then).

Don't know if you have been to a library lately, but around here they still have the paper card catalog. Not surprising to me at all they would still use a keyboard in the 51st century.

On a more interesting note, who exactly do you think Doctor Song is?

I have been to a library lately. All the local libraries here have been using a computer based card catalog since the turn of the century. Still, I'd expect a few more advancements in the next 30 centuries. Oh, btw, I was being sarcastic.

Could this be the start of a series of Apple tie-ins? Maybe Steve Jobs is considering retiring. He could be thinking about becoming the first American Time Lord the next time the Doctor regenerates. Or how about this, maybe when Stravos returns it will be to introduce the new iDalek.
