toolshed Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 I think I have made a big mistake (coming from the Windows world) in overwriting a folder, expecting existing files to remain. Seems OSX don't work like that. It was in the Users/Shared directory. It was a pretty big bunch of files (Gigabytes) so most of it is probably still on disk. But the file table (or OSX equivalent) most likely gone. Your suggestions are oh so welcome!
