hotmonkeayc
So I already have Leopard installed in a drive. I need to partition the drive and create a dual-boot environment. I am using MBR as the partition scheme. Does anyone know if this is possible? What tools would I need? Gujal
If you Leopard installed, is the partition using up the whole disk? If it is the case, get Gparted Live CD, and boot with it. It can shrink HFS+ (Leopard) partition and can creat a new Partition for installing your other OS Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108816-partitioning-already-existing-leopard-install/#findComment-771535 Share on other sites
hotmonkeayc
Hey there, Yeah, the entire disk is partitioned as HSF. So you're saying that Gparted should be able to resize my partition without messing up my current install? Gujal
Yes, GParted can shrink HFS+ partition without losing data or messing up your current install.
