shumik
Basicly, after update, it just doesn't want to start to play divx files - it crashes. I have this problem on two computers each having different videocards. I updated from Leo4All v1 using Kalyway 10.5.3 vanilla kernel 9.3. Please help! Here is what VLC says: Process: VLC [709] Path: /Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/VLC Identifier: org.videolan.vlc Version: 0.8.6e (0.8.6e) Code Type: X86 (Native) Parent Process: launchd [486] shumik
hey, thank you for the hint! reinstalling nvinject didn't solve the problem, at first. The problem was with QE CI not being supported. I read it has to do with something editing devices ids. But thankfully I didn't have to do it, because I resolved this issue by installing insanelymac_Nvidia_Installer_3.0_Beta_Version_by_Punk92 melon my computer with 8600 GT. Now I have to solve this same problem for the one with Radeon 2600.
kmin
Hii What exactly did you do, I mean which driver did you install?
shumik
i installed 256 nvinject that came with insanelymac_Nvidia_Installer_3.0_Beta_Version_by_Punk92. i deleted the one i had before. it was also nvinject 0.2.
fyuzebox
My VLC also broke on updating Zeph 10.5.2 v2 to 10.5.3 with the update app (15:55). The app itself worked like a charm but there was some systemwide instability after the update and I couldn't get my graphics drivers installed correctly again. Anything that was graphics intensive would crash, vlc, google earth, etc. Hadn't bothered to back everything up so I just decided to do a reinstall. Back in 10.5.2 now and everything is fine. kmin
What I did: 1. Delete VLC and all preferences using script, 2. Remove Nvinject and replace by Natit 3. Chcange default AppleSMBIOS to AppleSMBIOS-27-DDR3-1333 3. Install VLCc 4. Replace VLCc by VLCh All works
Tyranicus
I have the exact same problem. I'm running an 8800 GTS 320MB. i tried upgrading nvinject, and I tried the insanelymac installer, and I still don't have Quartz Extreme enabled. Any suggestions?
