Gujal
Whoa, we are not psychics here! Need to know what distro you are using on what hardware specification before anyone can help you out. Most probably it is the USB 2.0 ports running in USB1.1 mode which is a common problem if the Kernel and system.kext dont match. Search for this on the forum, there are lot of threads with solution Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108388-ok-usb-probs/#findComment-768599 Share on other sites

worpx
hmm i think it may a problem with the usb mp3 player itself (as in the formatting)?..only a shot in the dark with the limited info.... Make sure its formatted to FAT32 (like ipods)..then it should mount automatically on desktop Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108388-ok-usb-probs/#findComment-768700 Share on other sites
