Chuck_Smith
I'm building a Hackintosh from scratch and I'm looking for a motherboard that can support more than 8gb of ram using the Intel 775 socket. It needs to be Multi-GPU compatible. Thanks in advance, Chuck
ToGaR
I won't stake my life on it, but I think you're only option is going to be a server grade board that uses Xeon processors. When I was looking for my mobo, I noticed that the only multiple processor boards showing up were for Xeon processors (not 775). I hope you're able to find something. Post your results when you do. Yes you need Socket 771 for the multiple CPU boards and when building one of these systems it actually starts to make sense to spend the extra couple of hundred dollars to buy a Mac Pro, anyways to the OP here is a link below on some motherboards/8 core thread there are others I have seen but this is the only I have bookmarked. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=82548
