Can't get leopard to boot

hi I'm having troubles getting leopard to boot i've used kalyway 9a527 everything installs correct but when restart I always get "Still waiting for root device" i've tried rd=disk1s1 what else can i do?

my system is

 

p4 HT 2.6ghz sse3

nvidia geforce 6200

1Gb ram

ethernet intel pro 8225x

HD ide 80Gb

 

help please

What I did to "fix" this is just mess around with which SATA ports my hard drive and DVD drive are plugged into. I just had to try different things untill it stopped giving me that error.

 

 

 

I say "fix" because now I'm getting a different problem, but Im pretty sure Im totally passed the still waiting for root device problem, and this is something seperate.

well after changing all disk configurations that came up to my mind I'm still getting the same error "still waiting for root device...."

i think I'm gonna desert unless someone here come up with some magic trick to save me!!!
