Gujal
The flat image is ancient Get Leo4all v3 and install. It should be straight forward as it supports lot of new drivers such as ICHx in IDE mode etc. Looks like it is crashing during HDD COntroller initialization. Lucagfc
My problem is that I don't have a SATA DVD DRIVE so the only way I can install it is using the Flat Image (which allows installing without a dvd drive) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108263-leopard-installation-problem/#findComment-769020 Share on other sites

KiTzBiTz
There is one reason...burn again with the lowest speed..burn again at 2x speed.. if not...try press F8 at darwin bootloader..then type -v ...what I means is..dont let your Leo4AllV3 boot on it own..press F8 then type -v..then enter..you should able see the loaded driver..and if you do success..please be aware that when you install the Leo..dont skip the DVD check of Leo as to ensure the DVD is fine and do not corrupted.. Ok.. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108263-leopard-installation-problem/#findComment-770175 Share on other sites
Lucagfc
The problem is that i tried to mount the DVD Image in Daemon Tools under windows and in the DVD there isnt't any file with a large dimension and i think that' n normal. shouldn't it be there a large file in it? thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108263-leopard-installation-problem/#findComment-770417 Share on other sites
nthn
Leo4Allv3.iso - Size: 4.37GB You won't see large files inside of it, but this doesn't mean that your image is corrupt. If the image file size is less than 4.37 GB (4,698,669,056 bytes), then it probably is. Lucagfc
Ok. Now i try to download it again. the "System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist' could be caused by the IDE DVD drive? nthn
That's usually an error given if the disc hasn't burned correctly. I believe. It can be solved by re-burning the disc. Don't reburn the disc if your image file isn't complete, though. You'll just end up with a pile of frisbees.
