JestaGeek Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 By selecting the right things, I had no trouble with Kalyway 10.5.2 full installer. After upgrading to 10.5.3 my audio was gone. I already had pcwiz's guide and files for mobos like ours and used OSx86 tools to re-install the drivers related to ALC889a... there are two I re-installed: AppleHDA.kext and ALCinject.kext. (See my signature for the links, but I guess you may already have everything). Working perfectly now. Maybe you didn't do one of those? Hope that helps... dasefx Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 I've spent several days trying to find a solution for a P45 motherboard (GA-P45-DS3R) but still no go, i think I've installed every driver found in this site but still no luck, does anyone knows what could be wrong, maybe it has something to do with the ICH10 controller?, don't know what to think by now. BTW i have a Creative Xmod, but i have distorted sound in almost every game anyway so it is useless . Please Help.
