dotrat1989
Hello, I am having no luck with my current machine. I tried to install kalyway 10.2, Leo4all (latest version I believe), and Aitokos 10.2. Here are my current specs: e6600 CPU DFI 975x motherboard 1900 XTX graphics card I want to try to upgrade my current computer to compatible specs for under $400. The hard part is finding the right config that will install Leo 10.2 on vanilla so I can basically update OSX through apple update. I am currently new to seen so any advice/help would be much appreciated. I will update this post with whatever I find to be useful. I am now looking MSI X48C Platinum LGA 775 Intel because I can keep my current DDR2 800 memory but I would have to upgrade my E6600 with only support higher FSB. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813130157 Does anyone know if my current graphics card is compatible with this one? dotrat1989
@SuperNet33 I want to upgrade my current config. I want to replace only the required parts to run Leo 10.2 but still have a great config to play games and be really power efficient on idle. Does anyone know if there's an Intel motherboard that has Intelligent Power management like the AMD's 780a? http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_780a.html I have my computer on all the time and I want my next revision of my computer to be more environmental friendly Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108149-upgrading-pc-need-advice-which-parts-to-buy/#findComment-767040 Share on other sites
