blkpnthr
Is there anyway to get any of the many install DVDs to work with my Dell which has and Nforce chipset. IS THERE ANY KNOWN WAY AT ALL. No i wont buy a pata drive, may sata drive is fine and I cant/wont change my chip set has recommended by someone in a chat room. every install disk I have used gives me the same errors with all kernels I try no matter what I do I get the same errors. included via attachment is my system specs. Kalyway and itokis which are popular ones don’t work, along with another one that I tried. is anyone working on a fix for this problem? Errors i get: while in -v:Verbose mode Still waiting for root device SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x06, ASC = 0x29, ASCQ = 0x00 My disks are fine i have too many burned copies of installations to count. Sorry if i come of a bit mad but i am. it took my weeks to find burning software that was fee and actually worked, And now that’s its taking a {censored} load of time to get mac to installed iv just run out of patience. I know what macs are like I use them and school all the time and are experienced with them, Because I used them for video editing and other thing . Seven Silhouette
I installed OS X on a E521 before. The only distro that worked for me was the Leo4All distro. It was v2 at the time, but hopefully v3 will work too. Hope that helps a little. Only thing I couldn't get working on it before was the onboard graphics card.
