nitrogear
Hello to all! I have problem whith Leo4Allv3 installation. I've performed this steps: 1. I've created primary partition in acronis and marked it as active 2. After GUI Installer loads i go to Disc Utility and tried to Erase previsiously created partition in HFS+ Journalled Format. This operation finishes shortly with no effect: partition doesn't convert into HFS+ but only changes it's label and continues to be inactive for install Please tell me how to solve this problem Thanks in advance! KiTzBiTz
Follow this guide. One thing that you must remember. When you wanted to erase or format non primary partition that created using Win @ other and you've installed Win @ anything except Leo. Then you'll never able to format the partition as HFS. If you have another HD.then you can simply create partition using mac Disk Utility. But if you have another OS installed on the same disk with some partition and the primary OS is on the primary partition. you'll never able to format it using DISK UTILITY. Solution: Use empty HardDisk as we'll create partition using Disk Utility. Make as much partition you want if you want to install various OS.If not..then it will be lot easier. For example: Created 2 partition using Disk Utility. 1 partition for LEO - Format as Mac Journaled Extend 1partition for Vista - Format as FAT using Disk Utility. Just remember. Dont install on partition that have OS already on primary partition.if not..you'll screw your OS.and all of your data on the same HD. worpx
Along with Kitz's solution; you can try to use GUID for the hd then format the amount of space you need for each (XP/Vista/Mac)...
