Chest12
Great Mod! Have you thought of putting Leopard on it if you do could you let me know what it is like as i have a Pismo(but no power adapter as of yet). It has a terrible spec base model 400mhz 6gb HDD and 64mb of ram so i am really interested in what you have done. Is Tiger fast or sluggish? Was the upgrade expensive because if it was fairly cheap i will buy a power adapter for it and start using it as my PB G4 had a hard Drive Failure:( it had a Xbench rating of 48 and my Mac Mini had a rating of 22.51. Thanks in Advance D. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107925-my-powerbook-pismo-mod/#findComment-766490 Share on other sites
Wraith
Tiger works very fast for a "Pismo". Leopard works with Patches, but sluggish. i have here a second G4 Upgrade Card for 200,00 Euro (+ shipping). Power Adapter gives on eBay. Tiger is the best operating system for "Pismo"...
