I am running a retail installation of 10.5.2. Almost entirely vanilla. I started getting these messages when I installed modified AHCIPort/AHCIFamily/ATAFamily kexts, however, when I went back to the retail kexts, they didn't go away. They used to repeat about 13 times at first, but now they've grown to 19 repeats. As far as I can tell, they aren't causing performance issues, but I am worried that they will multiply to hundreds of repeats and eventually bog down the system. Is anyone else experiencing anything with these ALF-ALERTS? I've searched high and low and found very little information regarding these messages. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! EDIT: IT WAS PRINTER SHARING! I'll keep this message up in case anyone else stumbles upon it looking for answers. I can't say my situation is the same as anyone else who might experience it, but all I had to do was turn off printer sharing. Funny thing is, I don't remember turning it on in the first place AND my printer wasn't even selected in the sharing menu. Very strange.
