stickyiki Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 I installed the Kalyway 10.5.3 ComboUpdate and the original kernel from Apple. The installation process went fine but when I rebooted, my hackintosh stays at a blue screen. I restarted again, while connected to an external display thru VGA-out, and my hackintosh booted successfully and shows up properly on the external display. I have a GMA950 chipset and QE/CI are supported. Whenever I boot normally (no external display), I can't get past the blue screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? When I connect an external display, i get a distorted image with weird colours on both displays. Anyone know how to fix that? quinielascom Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Do you have your kexts (AppleGMA950, AppleIntegratedBuffer) version 10.5.1/2 ? If yes install those kext with kext helper for example, if this fix fail (same problem) then only erase AppleIntegratedBuffer. Eventually solved it for internal and external Displays by using the AppleIntelIntergratedFramebuffer.kext from Kalyway 10.5.2 and installing it buy means of KextHelper. Works perfectly now.
