I can go to log off and at the login screen hit shutdown and it works fine, but when i click on the apple logo and hit shutdown it works, but i have to press the power button to shut it off. I tried that new kext file that " fixes " reboot and that works, but anyone know how to get shutdown to work? 1niteonly Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 I have the same issue using Kalyway 10.5.2, I can restart, but cannot shutdown. Occasionally it would shutdown completely, but most of the time the computer is still actually on.
