nightfly2000
Hi I have a problem. I have a kalyway 10.5.2 running system. My hardware is a Dell Inspiron 8600 Pentium M with SSE2. I made a mistake with an update. I read here since some months ago something about an Time Capsual Update that chrash the system... Yes I don´t know the full name of the update :-( After the update my system always reboots. I think ther must be an failure with the ACPI Platform, because when the System try to boot, then it hangs at the ACPI Platform an Reboots. Please I need help is there a way to delete the updatet files? I hava a running Windows System with Mac Drive where i can acces the file system! p.s. sorry for my english greets from Austria Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107373-can%C2%B4t-boot-anymore/ Share on other sites
allenwkk
the airport/time machine update will update the Kernel. So you have to replace it with the HACK kernel. Then it should be able to reboot. Remember to set the right permission and repair.
